Sessions
Faith in the Family sets the stage for a fruitful interaction between local physical sessions and national digital sessions. We journey together through a year, because important processes take time. On our own we are vulnerable, but together we are much stronger!
Local sessions
The local physical sessions are mandatory and take place with two or three parent couples within reasonable distance of each other. The focus here is on getting to know each other better and building a trusting relationship.
The purpose of the gatherings is to experience the strength of standing together with others in the process of creating better interaction within the family and making more room for Jesus in everyday life. It is important here to share honest experiences, pray together, and clarify how you can continue to support each other in the process of developing faith life in the family.
Digital sessions
The digital sessions will provide practical teaching on themes related to the role of parents and how we can let our Christian faith shape everyday life. Along the way, time is set aside so that each couple has the opportunity to talk together about the teaching and how it encourages and challenges the interaction in their marriage and family life. Toward the end of each session, various faith practices are presented, and each couple decides which ones they want to practice afterwards.
The theme for the fall sessions will be “Foundation.” Here there will be teaching on family culture and values, along with suggestions for practices you can train in together as a couple and as a family.
The theme for spring 2026 will be “Prayer,” and will follow the same pattern with teaching, conversation, and suggested practices.

On Monday, April 13, 2026, we plan to gather several local groups for a physical regional sessions in different parts of Norway.
The exact time and place will be announced once we have an overview of the various local groups. This session will also be possible to join digitally for those who are unable to attend in person.
